The Rotary Club of Bangkok has completed its support to a renovation project at Wat Thongthaeng Nisayarom School in Lopburi Province, improving the school’s kitchen, canteen and classroom facilities. The project, funded with a budget of THB 88,284, provides students with a safer dining environment and a more comfortable space for learning. The handover took place on 15 June 2026 and was attended by President Nick, Khun Ae, PP Maleeratna and PP Mark.
On 15 June 2026, the Rotary Club of Bangkok officially handed over a renovation project at Wat Thongthaeng Nisayarom School in Lopburi Province, funded with a total budget of THB 88,284.
The project focused on improving the school’s kitchen and canteen facilities, creating a safer, cleaner and more welcoming environment for students to enjoy their daily meals. In addition, the club provided classroom fans to improve air circulation and create a more comfortable learning environment for both students and teachers.
The handover ceremony was led by President Nick, accompanied by his wife Khun Ae, Past President Maleeratna and Past President Mark. The occasion was filled with smiles and enthusiasm from students, teachers and Rotarians alike, reflecting the positive impact of the project on the school community.
A special highlight of the day was a spontaneous donation from Rotarian John Hancock, who generously contributed an additional THB 20,000 in celebration of his 80th birthday. The school plans to use these funds to purchase new televisions for classrooms, enhancing educational opportunities for students who regularly participate in online learning programmes.
