Governor’s Salute
On June 9th 2018
President Dr. Urs D. Blum receiving Governor’s Salute for serving as Club President in 2017-18, from district Governor Marasee Skunliew.
Assistant Governor Santi Chatterjee receiving Governor’s acknowledgement for services to the District in 2017-18. She was Assistant Governor looking after RC Bangkok and RC Bangkok South. She also served as District Sub Committee Chair for Peace and Conflict Resolution as one of the 6 areas of focus and subcommittee member on the District Rotary Subcommittee.
Assistant Governor Suraphon Kittivet was chair of District PR Committee. There is no pix of him because he has left for Cambodia on DTA for Cambodian clubs.
On that day, President Jasmine of Rotaract Club of Eastern Asia University, President Nappassawan of Interact club of Sathit Kaset and President Danita of Early Act club of Amnuaysilp Dhonburi also came to recieve their awards.

Dear Members of the Rotary Club of Bangkok
As you may know, the Rotary Club of Bangkok (RCB) has to pay twice a year a contribution to Rotary International (R.I.), which will be US$ 32 per member and
semester.
In order to avoid paying unnecessary dues, we would highly appreciate if you could inform us if you have the plan to discontinue your membership at the end
of this Rotary year i.e. by June 30, 2018. This would help us making the correct calculation of our semi-annual dues to R.I. We apologize for raising this issue but we would like to avoid having to pay dues to R.I. for members who actually have left the club.
If we will have the benefit of your continuous membership, you do not need the reply; if we do not hear from you, we will happily assume that you will remain a valued member of our Club.
However, if you have to terminate your membership of RCB, please let us know as soon as convenient, in all event before June 15, 2018. You may report to the current Membership Chair, PE Maleeratna (maleeratna@gmail.com) with a CC: to our executive secretary, Khun Bing (rotarybangkok@gmail.com)
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We hope to receive no reply at all and everybody will remain member of the Rotary Club of Bangkok for the coming year.
